Jelly Party

Vertical ink collage packed with soft-bodied creatures, spotted forms, food shapes and a striped central figure

A crowd of round, wrinkled, furry and spotted creatures fills the page around a tall striped figure. Look closer and you'll find tiny faces and food-like shapes tucked between them.

Fine crosshatching brings out fur, pitted skin, folds and dark spaces between the characters. The process photographs show the group growing from scattered figures into a packed composition.
